Lollie Butler is an Arizona Fellow in Literature, granted by the Arizona Commission for the Arts. Published widely, she has received several awards including one from The Robert Frost Foundation and a special literary award from The Presidential Library at Texas A & M University where her poem, “The One Free Woman in America,“ dedicated to civil rights activist Rosa Parks remains on display.

She lives in Tucson and is watched over by a shy lizard and two “guard” cats, Mojo and Max.
